New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year everyone!

Since it’s a new year we thought we would begin with a few resolutions:

Take Better Care of Ourselves

Now, I know what you’re thinking, “YOU’RE STILL WORKING ON THAT?”.  Why yes, yes we are.  Since day one we’ve been working on making the most accurate rocket we could muster. Initially we tried to do too much at once, with the rocket lighting up, sticking to the roof, being lightweight AND cheap to create?  On a few occasions an easy and speedy build was chosen over accuracy.

With our most recent rocket we have inched to our goal.  A lightweight, light up rooftop rocket, which stays on safely while driving.  Recently we have been granted access to the machinery we would need to produce such a rocket and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store.

In addition to the accurate rooftop rocket, there are a few details that we have been meaning to add or alter on the truck.  Making some changes to the interior of the cab, which currently is the same color as when we first picked up the truck, may be where we start.
We have been searching for a more accurate camper shell which has been surprisingly tough to find. Our main focus is to find a shell that fits, and has the proper silhouette and has the elusive bubble window.  We have found a few on Craigslist, only to have the seller drop out at the last minute under increasingly suspicious circumstances.  This week we  will go on the road to continue the search.

Stop Smoking

Generally trucks collect their wear and tear due to overuse, our truck on the other hand has the flip side of this issue. It’s been a while since the truck has had a tune up and we hope to perform a systems check since our next resolution is:

Get Out More

Once the truck is in the condition to drive longer distances,  we’re going to take longer road trips. We have a few trips charted out that would even take us to other states.  We will also make it easier to schedule local events and stops through our website.

Eat Healthier

This is pretty self-explanatory
