A few weeks ago, we sent the truck to get some much needed repairs done. Fortunately, it only took a few days to get to the bottom of the major problems.
The engine block was much cleaner than expected, considering the disarray we’ve found in the past when performing repairs. Most of the repairs were straightforward: replace a few hoses, and tightening bolts where necessary. The water pump was also replaced, as well as the head gasket.
Next on our to-do list is to rebuild the carburetor, which should solve our cold start issues.

We’ll be back on the road soon – adventures await!
